SON CHARGED AFTER ATTEMPTING TO LIGHT FATHER’S HOUSE ON FIRE AS COPS OFFER $10,000 REWARD FOR AREA ARSONS

BRUNSWICK, GA – 25 year-old Akeem Carroll (pictured inset) has been charged with first degree arson after he was allegedly caught trying to light a house on fire.

The house, according to authorities, belongs to his father. According to reports, Carroll’s father called 911 on Saturday to report that the incident.

Dispatchers were told that the caller’s son was outside lighting a fire to the dwelling at 161 Baywood Circle in the Timber Ridge subdivision.
