Success is when talent meets opportunity. The right time, the right opportunity, and the right tools must all be in place in order for success to occur.
Most importantly, success takes God’s hand to guide you in the right direction that will lead you to your best self. It takes time, dedication, and sometimes failure to flourish.
A major misconception about success is that success can be achieved on your own. Success does not come from self; success comes from support. There has
never been one prosperous person in history to achieve success on their own.
God is always a helping hand whether He is acknowledged or not. There is a family member, friend, mentor, or someone who simply believes in that person that leads him or her to completing the journey to success.
I have recently experienced my own success by winning 1st place in Public Speaking 1 at the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) National Leadership Conference (NLC) in Chicago, Illinois on July 2nd. Over 11,000 students from across the world were competitors in this conference, and over one hundred 9th and 10th graders competed in my event. Fourteen finalists were chosen.
