The spotlight seems to continue finding George Zimmerman, the man  acquitted in the death of 17 year-old Trayvon Martin. This time, Zimmerman was pulled over near Dallas, Texas for speeding.

When approached by the officer, Zimmerman reportedly said that he was armed. He was told to put the gun in the glove compartment of his car and told to go on his way if he had no criminal issues and was then told to put the weapon in his glove compartment, according to the station.

The officer then told Zimmerman he could go on his way if he had no criminal issues. The incident was caught on the officer’s dashcam.

At some point, Zimmerman asked the officer if he recognized him from tv, to which the officer said he did not. As for where Zimmerman was headed, his response was “no place in particular”.
