Just a few days before Mother’s Day, the daughter of 55 year-old Paula Abdullah is pleading with the public to help find the person responsible for her
mother’s death.

On Wednesday, May 7 police responded to the 1100 block of New Berlin Road in reference to a body in a driveway.

Investigation revealed the victim was walking east on the edge of the paved portion of New Berlin Road. An unknown black vehicle struck the victim
in the back knocking her about 80 feet off the road and onto a driveway.

The vehicle left the scene leaving behind several pieces of vehicle debris. At about 5:25 a.m., the resident of the house came out to leave for work and
observed the victim lying in her driveway.

Detectives have not been able to identify the suspect vehicle, but feel it is a black Toyota Tacoma pick-up truck, possibly a SR5 Sport model.
The suspect vehicle (similar to the one pictured) should have heavy right
front damage to the headlight area.
