Gator Defensive Coach is Promoted

FStar-121209-a-01dFor The University of Florida Gators Defensive Coach Charlie Strong, after 23 years, is getting the opportunity at head coach.

It was announced that Coach Strong will lead Louisville as the head coach. The 49-year old will be the 11th black head in the Football Bowl Subdivision. He has been a defensive coordinator for 11 seasons in the  Southeastern Conference.
