Florida Cops Arrest Gang of Girl Thieves

Five females, including a 16 year-old were arrested on retail theft charges after a St. Johns County Sheriff’s deputy made a traffic stop on I-95 early last week.

The officer was acting on a tip from an investigation after receiving a report of a shoplifting in progress earlier that day at the Polo Ralph Lauren store at the St. Augustine Premium Outlets. The suspects were later seen leaving in a white Nissan Altima.  Inside the vehicle, officers uncovered clothing valued at over $2,500.

The items were believed to have been stolen from several stores including Polo, Reebok/Rockport, Aeropostale, Nike, Gap and Tommy Hilfiger, the release said. They also found tools   commonly used in removing anti-shoplifting devices.

Arrested were Lakycra Arie Gardner, 24, of Jacksonville; and Jasmonique Lavon Franklin, 22; Mia Nicole Dock, 19; and Shacarrie Deasia Heyward, 18; and the juvenille all of Savannah. Bonds ranging from $5,500-$20,000.
