Congresswoman Corrine Brown has expressed her “grave concern” to Florida Governor Rick Scott over the employees of the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration.
The Congresswoman wrote a letter to the Governor pointing out what she felt was inappropriate in his dealings of the matter. She said that staff at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs facilities in Florida were questioned.
“Neither you as the Governor, nor any of your state agency personnel, have any authority over our nation’s federal agencies or activities.” she said. “Your failure to acknowledge and respect the separate role of state and federal government is inappropriate, unprecedented, and could be a violation of the law.”
